Applicant must be a freshman student majoring in either athletic training or sports medicine with a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be an Alberta resident who has demonstrated excellence in the fine arts or athletics combined with superior academic achievement.

Applicant must graduate from Leo Hayes High School and demonstrate successful academic performance and involvement in athletics and the community.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, a minimum 1050 SAT score and be able to demonstrate membership/participation in three or more organizations or extracurricular activities (athletics, school publications, performing arts, etc.).

Applicant must demonstrate outstanding leadership skills through high school extracurricular activities, athletics, and/or community service.

Applicants must be Alberta residents and be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate, professional or graduate program at a university, college or technical institute in Alberta.

Applicant must be a participant in the Iowa American Legion Baseball Tournament and portray outstanding sportsmanship, team play, and athletic ability. Selection is by the State Baseball Committee.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be pursuing a career in the athletic training field.
