Underwood-Smith Teacher Scholarship
Amount : $5,000
Applicant must be a West Virginia resident who will attend a West Virginia institution of higher education full time, seeking teacher certification at the preschool, elementary, or secondary level. Undergraduate applicant must rank in the top tenth of class, score in the top tenth statewide of those taking the ACT, or have a cumulative 3.25 GPA after successfully completing two years of course work at an approved institution. Graduate applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have graduated in the top tenth of college class.
