Scholarship is open only to ASM student members studying in North America.
Applicants must be a student member of ASM International and who intends to or has already declared a major in metallurgy or materials science engineering. Applicants majoring in related science or engineering disciplines will be considered if they demonstrate a strong academic emphasis and interest in materials science. University must have an accredited science and engineering program leading to a bachelor degree. International student members are also encouraged to apply. One year of college is required to apply for all awards.
