Award may also be considered as an internship and stipend. Recipient must be free to accept 12 weeks of summer employment and must accept research or teaching assistantship after first year.
U.S. citizens are preferred; permanent residents will also be accepted. Applicant must be an African-American, Native American, Puerto Rican, Mexican-American, or other Hispanic-American, who has earned a bachelors degree through an accredited program, must have earned or be earning a master's degree in engineering, with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
