Applicant must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the two most recent academic years. They must abide by the honor code at the university, and be enrolled at BYU-Hawaii for 12 credit hours per semester. The applicant must be a student in the School of Education with the intent of teaching in Polynesia at either the elementary or secondary level. Preference given to students who have been raised in rural parts of Polynesia whose economic circumstances are modest.
