Selection is based upon the best potential use of the collections of both Hagley and Winterthur. Award is a cooperative program of short- to medium-term research fellowships for scholars interested in the historical and cultural relationships between economic life and the arts, including design, architecture, crafts, and the fine arts. Stipends are for a minimum of one month and a maximum of six months.
