Applicant must be a U.S citizen and must be enrolled in a forth coming fall semester half or full time. Scholarship is directed towards students engaged with a faculty mentor (research project, independent study, attendance or presentation at a workshop, conference, or training opportunity related to professional development, submission to a publication, patent application, activities that promote NASA's mission, education outreach activities, industry internship or job shadow). Students are not limited to, or required to complete these specific activities; new ideas are encouraged.
