NTA Canada Undergraduate or Graduate Scholarship

Amount : $1,000

Applicant must be permanent resident of Canada who is enrolled in an accredited two-, three- (for Quebec), or four-year college or university in Canada or the United States entering their final year of undergraduate study at a two- or three-year school; or third or fourth year at a four-year school; or entering or returning year of graduate study in the fall of the calendar year of application. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be an undergraduate student enrolled in a tourism-specific program or area of focus, or a hospitality program with a focus on travel and tourism; or be a graduate student who is able to demonstrate a clear focus on and commitment to the tourism subject area. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay addressing specific topics, are required to be submitted. Award will be sent to recipient's financial aid office for the fall semester to cover tuition, books, and educational fees only (if undergraduate student) and tuition, books, educational fees, and research-related expenses (if graduate student).
