Applicant must be a permanent resident of the United States who is an entering or returning full-time graduate student (in the fall of the calendar year of application), studying travel and tourism or hospitality at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be able to demonstrate a clear focus and commitment to the tourism subject area. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, two recommendation letters (from academic and professional tourism-related individuals), resume, official transcript, and essay which answers the following questions, "You have chosen to pursue a career path in the travel and tourism or hospitality industry. What changes have you observed thus far in the industry, and what changes do you anticipate in the future of the industry? Where do you see your future potential in the industry?" are required to be submitted. Award will be sent to the recipient's financial aid office for the fall semester for tuition, books, education fees, and research-related expenses only.
