NTA Travel Leaders Graduate Scholarship
Amount : $1,000
Applicant must be a permanent resident of any country, and be an entering or returning graduate student who is enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States or Canada with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. A clear focus on and commitment to the tourism subject area must be demonstrated. Application, scanned copy of driver's license (or passport) as proof of permanent residency, resume, two letters of recommendation (from academic and professional), official transcript, and a scanned two-page original essay are required to be submitted. Required essay question: "You have chosen to pursue a career path in the travel and tourism or hospitality industry. What changes have you observed thus far in the industry, and what changes do you anticipate in the future of the industry? Where do you see your future potential in the industry?" Award will be sent to the recipient's financial aid office for the fall semester to cover tuition, books, educational fees, and research-related expenses only.
