British applicants must have been born in Scotland, American citizens must maintain permanent residence in the Mid-Atlantic Region (defined as Washington, D.C., Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, or Virginia). Special consideration to those whose work contributes toward enhancing knowledge of Scottish history or culture.
