Applicant must be an African American resident of Texas, actively involved in the Baptist church. Applicant must have a minimum "B" grade average coming out of high school or have a minimum 2.0 GPA on a 4.0 grading system from an accredited college or university. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and Christian service, and submit recommendations from pastor, teachers, advisors, and employer.
