Tution Assistance Program (TAP)
Amount : $5,000
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen and a New York resident and study full time (at least 12 credits per semester) at an approved New York postsecondary institution. Applicant must be matriculated in an approved program of study, be in good academic standing, and meet income requirement: $10,000 for single, independent undergraduates with no dependents; $5,666 for single, independent graduate students with no dependents; $20,000 for dependent graduate students or independent graduate students who are married or have tax dependents. Applicant must submit FAFSA. Recipient must maintain a minimum grade average of "C" after receipt of two annual payments.
