Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate program in a New York degree-granting institution or vocational school and must have served in the U.S. Armed Forces in Indochina between January 1, 1963 and May 7, 1975 (dishonorable discharge not eligible). Applicant must have resided in New York on April 20, 1984 or at the time of entry into service and resume residency by September 1 of the year of application. Selection is based solely upon documenting and meeting eligibility requirements. Applicant must also have applied for Tuition Assistance Program and Pell Grant awards. Applicant must have served in hostilities beginning August 2, 1990 (for Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Award only).
