Applicant must be seeking to improve their knowledge or skills in advanced fields while looking for solutions to current problems in Atlantic salmon biology, management, and conservation.

Applicant must meet at least two of the following three criteria. 25 ACT or higher, top twenty percent class rank, 3.0 GPA or higher. Interview required.

Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT score of 1200 and rank in top tenth of their class. Essay and letters of recommendation required.

Applicant must rank in top 15% of class and must plan a career in biochemistry, chemical physics, chemistry, computational modeling, or molecular biology.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a second- or third-year undergraduate student planning to attend graduate school. Fellowship begins June 1 and lasts three to six months.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman or transfer student who is interested in majoring in biology, chemistry, computer science, geology, mathematics, pre-engineering, or physics.

Selection is based upon an examination of various aspects of general high school biology.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a second- or third-year undergraduate minority student planning to attend graduate school. Fellowship begins on June 1 and lasts two to three months.

Applicant must have at least one year of standing research.

Selection is based upon financial need.
