Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and a full-time student and rank in the top quarter of class. Preference is given to petroleum and geological engineering majors and then to chemical and mechanical engineering majors.

Applicant must be enrolled full time and be a member of TMS. Preference is given to seniors enrolled full time in an engineering program related to the structure, property, and processing of materials.

Applicant must be a certified, regular, associate, student member of ASCET, or a high school senior in the last five months of the academic year who have passing grades. Letters of recommendation required.

Applicant must be a resident of Denver, Colo. Applicant must graduate in top third of secondary school class, enroll in the College of Engineering or the College of Arts and Science, and demonstrate financial eligibility.

Applicant must be a South Carolina resident and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Applicant must have a strong academic record with an intention to teach in the STEM areas of study (science, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
