Applicant must be the top female freshman applicant from Gloversville High School.

Applicant must come from a rural area of New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or New England. Selection is based upon citizenship, scholarship and leadership, with preference given to those with FFA or 4-H experience.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and be accepted to a study abroad program. Selection is based upon academic achievement and extracurricular activities.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate leadership and success through extracurricular involvement, work experience, volunteerism, and community service.
