Applicant must demonstrate exemplary leadership with a campus interfaith group.

Applicant must have a minimum "86" average, demonstrate financial need, and be committed to living on campus during the freshman year.

Selection is based upon financial need.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate extracurricular involvement.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 in major courses.

Applicant must submit a research paper on the African American experience from the Colonial era to the present.

Applicant must demonstrate leadership through involvement in community activities, with preference given to an ambulance/fire department volunteer.
