Selection is based upon financial need.

Applicant must be nominated by Music Department faculty.

Applicant must have contributed significantly to an enlightened awareness of gay and lesbian issues within the Barch academic community and the business community it serves.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.7 GPA. Selection is based upon faculty recommendation.

Applicant must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor's degree program and is enrolled full-time for at least two semesters. Current FAFSA must be filed, personal statement, and two letters of recommendation must be submitted.

Applicant must graduate from a Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of New York and must have a minimum "90" average and a minimum combined SAT I score of 1050.

Applicant must be of Swiss descent or have a parent who is a Swiss citizen, and be a US permanent resident. Award may be used at a Swiss university or federal institute of technology only.
