Applicant must be a Texas resident, graduate from a Texas high school and demonstrate the ability to overcome academic and socioeconomic adversity

Applicant must be a student who is of Hispanic origin living in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Texas, Utah, or Washington, D.C.

Applicant must be a Texas resident, graduate from a Texas high school, and demonstrate the ability to overcome academic and socioeconomic adversity.

Applicant must be a resident of Texas and be enrolled at least part-time in a program leading to licensing as a professional nurse at a Texas public college or university. Selection is based upon financial need.

Applicant must rank in the top 20% of their secondary school class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24).

Applicant must rank in top 15% of class and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1230 (composite ACT score of 27).

Applicant must be a National Merit finalist listing Texas A&M U as their first-choice college.

Applicant must have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 26) and rank in top 10% of their class or have a 3.2 cumulative high school GPA.
