Music Scholarships

Applicant must audition for the Petrie School of Music and be majoring in music.

Applicant must demonstrate financial need

Applicant must have an interest in leading in worship, playing musical instruments, or singing.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, combined SAT score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27), and rank it the top tenth of class. Audition with Music Department is required as part of the final selection process.

Applicant must submit essay and two letters of recommendation from professionals in the field. Music, dance, theatre (including technical) applicants must audition. Art applicants must submit portfolio.

Applicants must exhibit outstanding musical merit determined through a live audition. Applicants also need to demonstrate financial need.

Maximum award is given to National Achievement, National Hispanic, or National Merit finalists. Applicant for minimum award must be a minority, demonstrate talent in fine/performing arts, or meet GPA requirement established by admissions of...

Selection based upon talent in theatre, music, dance, art, writing for publication, debate, leadership, entrepreneurship, or community service.

Applicant must be nominated by the music department faculty.

Awarded to outstanding music applicants. Selection based upon GPA, musicianship, and service to the department.
