Music Scholarships

Applicant must be an outstanding student in choral music or voice.

Applicant must audition in February.

Applicant must demonstrate academic excellence and service to music.

Selection is based on a submitted performance CD, an original musical composition, or a research paper.

Applicant must be 18-29 years old with an interest in music composition.

Applicant must be a student who is a participant in the jazz ensemble and improvisation classes, have a letter of reference from a jazz/music instructor at the college, and be a part-time student.

Applicant must be a woman, audition during Scholarship Weekend, and submit reference from music teacher. Selection is based upon general musicianship, technical proficiency, level of repertoire, academic achievement, and citizenship.

Applicant must demonstrate musical talent by audition and show intent to participate in college music activities.

Selection is based upon applicant's talents in athletics, music, art, theater, and forensics. Applicant must be nominated.
