Applicant must contractually agree to practice registered nursing in the Havana, Ill., area for one year for each year of financing. Repayment is required for nonfulfillment of contractual obligation. Co-signers are required.

Applicant must show intent to develop clinical/research/teaching expertise, and a commitment to a career in cancer nursing. Research proposal as well as relevant personal and professional experience is required.

Applicant must have demonstrated leadership potential and high achievement with broad interests and willingness to take on challenges. Class rank, ACT or SAT I scores, and GPA are considered.
