Applicant must be enrolled full-time in College of Education or PROTEACH program. Selection is based upon financial need. Preference is given to children of public school teachers.

Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and must be a resident of northern California or be attending a school in northern California.

Applicant must be African-American and have an associate degree from Tennessee Community Coll and a minimum 3.25 GPA.

Applicant must be a minority student attending a Connecticut college or university in the teacher preparation program, and must be nominated by his or her school.
