Preference is given to applicants with Advanced Placement courses.

Applicant must have achieved academic honors and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must be have a minimum 3.0 GPA in his/her major.

First preference is given to a student accepted into a medical, dental, osteopathic, veterinary, or chiropractic program. Second preference is given to a student pursuing a Ph.D. in biology.

Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement in high school, leadership, and creative skills, and must perform community service.

Freshman applicant must have a minimum "85" average, and transfer applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate interest in participating in cocurricular activities at the school.

Applicant must have a family who suffered a loss of life on September 11 or had some other serious consequence as a result of the tragedy.

Applicant must participate in the Internship Program during the fall, spring, and summer semesters.

Applicant must be a Campus Auxiliary Services employee who works a minimum of 12 hours per week and has a minimum 2.75 GPA. Selection is based upon essay submission.

Applicant must attend full time for the first eight consecutive semesters.
