Applicant must demonstrate exceptional growth and ability in the studio area of the art program. Applicants are nominated by the Arts Department faculty.

Applicant must have a solid academic record.

Applicant must show serious financial need and a strong record of academic success.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.3 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must be the salutatorian of his or her graduating class.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and exhibit a record of strong academic achievement despite personal, financial, or family hardship. Preference is given to women who have children and are heads of households.

Applicant must show a history of academic achievement.

Applicant must be a junior or senior student matriculated in a college degree program. Applicants in any major are encouraged to apply.

Applicant must be committed to furthering peace and gender equality.

Applicant must be of Swiss descent or have one parent who is a Swiss citizen, be a permanent resident of Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, or Pennsylvania, and have a minimum 3.75 GPA.
