First preference is given to an applicant who has pursued dance at an advanced level. Second preference is given to an applicant who has pursued any other performing art. Selection is based upon essay submission.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and 30 credit hours. Selection is based upon academic record and essay submission.

Applicant must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in the College of Arts and Sciences, or be undeclared and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must show a balance between the Arts and their studies, as well as have obtained a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be a resident of Ventura County, pursuing a major in visual, performing, or creative arts, and demonstrate financial need. Preference given to female applicants.
