Travel Scholarships

Award is to be used for travel to AFS meetings.

Applicant must be in the process of completing their dissertation research.

Applicant must be a full-time student or post-doctoral fellow who a member of the AOU and is the sole author or joint author of a poster or oral paper presented at an award meeting. Preference will be given to graduate students.

Applicant must be participating in a program of study administered by the council, a council member institution, or a university appointed as an official ISIC issuing office.

Applicant must be a high school senior or eligible for graduation and be of Hispanic or Latino heritage including the Philippines, Portugal and Brazil. Applicant must be willing to travel at one's own expense to attend the regional award ce...
