Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, demonstrate a record of academic achievement, and be preparing to begin his/her student teaching.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and must intend to pursue a career in journalism.

Applicant must be a homemaker who has returned to school.

Applicant must demonstrate exceptional dedication, self-discipline, and a desire to learn.

Applicant must come from a rural area of New York and demonstrate excellent citizenship, scholarship, and leadership skills. Selection is based upon financial need.
