Medical Scholarships

Award looks to encourage minority students to pursue professional careers in physiological/biomedical sciences.

Applicant must plan to attend medical, dental, podiatry, veterinary, or optometry school after graduation.

Applicant must be a pre-med graduate of Adams State College and have been accepted by an accredited institution pursuing the degree of doctor of medicine.

Applicant must be a resident of Minnesota and currently attending a Minnesota institution. Award is to enable a medical student to participate in health research at a Minnesota institution and to explore the field of research.

Applicant must be currently enrolled in medical school. FAFSA, Student Aid Report, and copy of most recent tax return required.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and major in medical research or business. Applicant must be a student in Ventura County intending to attend an accredited college or university.

Applicant must be a resident of Minnesota, attending an institution in Minnesota, and working in a medically related curriculum with potential application to patients with disease of the heart and blood vessel system.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled full-time. Preference is given to applicant enrolled in human services, behavioral science, humanities, social science, social work, teaching, medical services, or counseling.
